The modern-day traveler knows the value of tech during your travels that not only helps make your travels smoother but more comfortable at the same time. Here are my top 5 essential tech travel gadgets without which I do not hit the road. Note that these are all at a serious discount for Amazon Prime Day, so make sure to get them before they sell out.
Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Generation)
Apple AirPods Pro is a must-have for any trip, whether it involves planes, trains, boats, or a simple road trip. With active noise canceling, you can immerse yourself in your favorite music or podcast without the distracting background noise of airplanes or others at the gym. Given their compact size, it makes them perfect for on-the-go use, and has nearly replaced headphones from my travel bag completely.
Power Bank (Anker PowerCore 65W)
Having a solid portable charger is a lifesaver for those inevitable moments when your battery runs low. I have used some of Anker’s products and highly recommend them for quality and easy use. This one is nice because you can plug it directly into the wall to charge itself and other devices, so it is essentially a 2-in-1 charging brick and portable charger.
Apple AirTags (4-Pack)
If you’re prone to losing your keys, wallet, or other valuables while traveling, AirTags are a game-changer. Simply attach an AirTag to your item, and you can easily track its location using your iPhone based on its location relative to other Apple products nearby.
Last summer, especially when airlines were losing passenger baggage like crazy, it was a no-brainer to put an AirTag into your checked baggage. I always put an AirTag into my backpack and suitcase when traveling.
Portable Rugged SSD – (Samsung T7 Shield)
The Samsung T7 Shield Portable SSD is great if you like to capture a lot of content when you travel but do not want to worry about losing the content or taking a significant amount of time to offload it. It’s perfect for photos, family videos, and anyone who wants to secure their digital treasures while on the go, mainly because of its rugged build for protection and quick speeds.
Portable Bluetooth Speaker (Anker SoundCore 2)
I always travel with a portable Bluetooth speaker because I never know when it will be needed for some music in my hotel room, during a hike, or at the beach. This one has been great for me as it is compact, waterproof, and seems to keep its charge for multiple trips, making it a reliable travel companion.
The Last Point:
These five essential tech travel gadgets have proven to be incredibly valuable in my travels. So whether you’re a business traveler, a digital nomad, or simply a tech lover who likes to be well-prepared, these are the gadgets you’ll want in your travel arsenal.
