Traveling can be a wonderful experience, but it’s not without hiccups. One common worry is losing your luggage and being unable to find it. I’ve been there, and it’s no fun, which is precisely why to buy AirTags this Prime Day.

This is where Apple’s AirTags come in. These small, coin-shaped devices are perfect for relieving the stress of your bags. Given how easy they are to hide in a suitcase, AirTags have been designed with the frequent traveler in mind. They also have an impressive battery life of over a year.

Keep Track of Your Baggage with Ease

First and foremost, AirTags make it incredibly simple to keep track of your baggage. Each AirTag uses Bluetooth technology to connect to your iPhone (or other peoples’ Apple Products, which… are everywhere), allowing you to monitor its location through the Find My app.

This means you can watch your suitcase’s whereabouts from your phone, whether on the conveyor belt at the airport or inside the cargo hold. It is reassuring to be in the middle of the ocean and see that your AirTag for your checked bags is right there alongside you.

Lost Mode for Extra Security

IIf your checked baggage gets lost, you can use AirTag’s Lost Mode to help locate it. Once activated, this feature notifies you when your AirTag is in range or has been located by the vast Find My network.

When airlines lose baggage, sometimes the hardest part is locating where the bag is. I have heard stories from friends where because of their AirTag, they could tell the airline where their missing baggage was.

Discounted AirTags

AirTags are typically $99 for a 4-pack (which I recommend so you can put one in all your backpacks and suitcases compared to the 1-pack). The discount for Prime Day brings the price of the product down to $88.49.

I have invested in AirTags for my suitcase and backpack and find them highly worthwhile, even when I carry on my baggage, as it is an extra layer of security.

The Last Point

Apple’s AirTags have quickly become an essential tool for anyone who travels. By offering an easy way to keep track of your checked baggage, they can reduce travel stress. This lets you focus on enjoying getting to your destination (or the journey). This is why I recommend buying AirTags this Prime Day.
