I am always fascinated by international Hilton hotels. Compared to domestic ones that tend to be dated with limited service, I am always impressed by their global counterparts in cities such as Paris and Sydney. I will briefly review Hilton Singapore Orchard in this article since I was not planning on writing a review but would love to share some thoughts.
The Room
The room must have been recently renovated since everything seemed relatively new. From the decor to the furniture, it felt sleek and modern. Despite being a very standard hotel room, it was really nice.
The bathroom was the same: modern and clean. It was nice that there was a separate tub from the shower, which is always a perk that I am a huge fan of.
The Hotel
The hotel was located in the center of the action, near other popular hotels, and built-in with plenty of shopping malls in the Orchard area.
With the lobby a few floors up from ground level, it was quite nice, with agents happy to assist. There was also an excellent pool for the middle of the city, which was a nice place to cool off from the Singapore heat.
Food and Beverage
Above and beyond the hard product, where I believe the Hilton Singapore Orchard shines is the food and beverage. I am a sucker for a great executive lounge, especially with free access, thanks to Hilton Diamond status. This lounge did not disappoint.
The breakfast spread was incredible, with all the options you could want, including both Western and more traditional options. There was also a made-to-order egg station. The staff was terrific with offering to get food and drinks.
The evening snacks were also excellent and could honestly be a substitute for dinner. There was enough variety to please most. I have to say that it was the second-best executive lounge I have ever been in, following Hilton Sydney.
The breakfast in the hotel’s main restaurant was also apparently incredible, according to my friend. However, I had slept in and did not get a chance to see it myself. Regardless, the food options at the Hilton Singapore Orchard were great.
The Last Point
If I am in Singapore again, I would not hesitate to stay at the Hilton Singapore Orchard, especially as a Hilton Diamond member. This means you have breakfast and a nice evening snack included in your room, not to mention coffee and other drinks. I highly recommend this Hilton, but next time I may have to check out the Conrad to see how it compares.

Just concluded a stay here last week. Fantastic. Friendly, helpful staff. Loved the Executive Lounge and the service. Got Diamond status via AmEx Aspire a month before covid lockdown, so it was a pleasant surprise to see what I had been missing in the US in terms of lounge access.

Amazing. Easiest way to status is with a card.
